Julio: Diseñador del trofeo ATFA, ha creado la pictoescultura
(interpretando el fútbol) con elementos realizados al peltre, terminado al bronce viejo y a la plata vieja sobre un panel
emulsionado y texturado.

El marchand Osvaldo Centoira fue el enlace entre Alejandro Tancredi y Jorge Gurmandí. El Dr. Tancredi, generador y productor
de las cajas fuertes que contienen testimonios de nuestros días para ser abiertas luego de cien años, pintadas por referentes
de la plástica, propuso al artista la realización de "El Botiquín de la Memoria" que, con instrumentales médicos,
estudios, datos y proyectos, está situada en la Facultad de Medicina de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. La primera de estas cajas
(fabricadas por Vetere), fue pintada por el uruguayo Paez Vilaró y colocada en el Colegio Nacional Buenos Aires. La tercera,
matizada también con los motivos diseñados por Gurmandí, es el "Arca de las Artes y las Ciencias"; se encuentra
en la Biblioteca Nacional (Buenos Aires). Después de casi diez años, convocado nuevamente para continuar la serie, Gurmandí
presentó en el programa de cable Argentina S. A.(Política & Economía - marzo 2006 - CableVisión) los bocetos para el "Tesoro
de la Educación y el Desarrollo" que ha pintado entre abril y mayo. Esta caja decorada fue exhibida en la feria EMAQH
(mismo pabellón de ArteBA) entre el 18 y el 23 de mayo, antes de ser cargada con material a preservar por 100 años en las
salas de ADIMRA, propietaria de este tesoro.

Safe boxes painted by artists are an idea of Alejandro Tancredi (a cable tv producer). Those boxes
contain documentation and elements of the nowadays to the future, for those who will open those boxes a hundred years after.
The first box has been painted by Uruguayan artist Paez Vilaró which is at the National Buenos Aires College. The second one called “The Memory Medicine-Chest”,
first of the boxes painted by Gurmandí, is sited at the Medicine Faculty (BA). The third safe box named “Arts and Sciences
Chest” is positioned at the National Library (BA). On March 2006, continuing the art sequence, Gurmandí let people see
(thru “Argentina SA” a cable tv program) some sketches for the new “Treasure of Education and Development”
that he will paint during April and May this year.

El artista se ha sumado al grupo entusiasta de vecinos que trabaja por la recuperación,
restauración y puesta en marcha del Complejo Cultural 25 de Mayo a cargo del Gobierno de la Ciudad de
Buenos Aires. Las obras se iniciaron en enero de 2006 y fueron detenidas inmediatamente al cambio de Jefe de Gobierno
de la Ciudad.
He added to a neighbours group for the restoration of the 25 de Mayo theatre at BA. The renovation
started on january 2006 and was stopped immediately after the change of the City Government Chief.
